The Zarathushtrian Association of New Zealand Incorporated — ZANZ — is the community organisation representing and supporting Zoroastrians across Aotearoa New Zealand. Established in 1996, ZANZ was created to preserve and promote the rich religious, cultural, and social heritage of the Zoroastrian community while contributing meaningfully to New Zealand’s diverse multicultural society.

Guided by the timeless Zoroastrian values of Humata, Hukhta, Huvarshta — Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds, ZANZ brings people together through religious observances, cultural celebrations, education, community service, youth and family engagement, seniors’ activities, and interfaith participation.

Our purpose is to help Zoroastrians remain connected to their faith, traditions, and community, while also supporting new generations to grow with pride in their identity and confidence in their place within New Zealand society.
